Team Jeff Fisher

In week eleven after a 19-16 loss against the Redskins, another battle was brewing between Titans quarterback Vince Young and head coach Jeff Fisher. Vince reportedly cursed out Jeff Fisher in front of the team and abruptly stormed out of the locker room. After the insubordinate act, Fisher held a meeting with the team that Young was not invited to and was asked to leave the premises.
Immediately after the incident, the media began forging ideas on whos side they were on and questioned the future of both Fisher and Young's positions in the Tennessee Titans franchise.
First off, let me start out by saying Jeff Fisher is an excellent coach. I've watched him call some plays and trick the opposing team in ways that left me speechless. However, it blows my mind if ANYONE takes the side of a childish, selfish, mediocre quarterback at best in Vince Young.

Vince Young's rookie year was crazy, once he finally got in the game. He took the team far, he played with heart and drive, and with his 6'5 232 pound statue he made it hard for any defense to take him down once he put his legs to use for a play. Then teams learned how to play against him. Stop him from being able to run the ball, force him to use that awkward throwing arm of his, and apply pressure and voila homemade recipe to make Vince Young crumble. I admit, I wanted to love him. I must also admit, Ive been off the Vince Young "Our Savior" bandwagon alot of Tennesseans were on. His antics on and off the field, would've forced any true Titans fan to reevaluate the level of trust they had in this man. Although maybe a little prematurely I started losing hope in him as early as 2007, that was based solely on the fact that he wasn't a strong passer, he couldn't perform under pressure, and he became a full out punk. He can't accept his mistakes and in my opinion fakes injuries when a game isn't going in his favor. I think he's a far better actor than FRANCHISE quarterback.

Coach Jeff Fisher is an outstanding individual. Since Vince Young has been on the roster, the Titans have had a young but strong team. One could even argue that if Vince Young would've been more of a leader with the drive and focus to win with hard work and studying, that this team could've made a Super Bowl appearance at least last year. That has to be extremely frustrating for a head coach that has had pro bowlers like Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch to support a strong defense and an offense with the likes of Chris Johnson one of the fastest guys in the league. Last year, he held a press conference supporting Young when speculation grew that Vince Young might have tried to kill himself after being "missing" for hours and getting booed at a home game. Not to mention the countless times of physical altercations Vince Young has gotten in like the strip club brawl he avoided suspension on earlier this year. Throughout it all Jeff Fisher supported Vince Young.

In conclusion, I have never played professional football a day in my life. However, I can say a team is like a family. The head coach being the daddy and the head quarterback being the big brother and in no family is it ever acceptable to curse out and disrespect daddy in front of the family. That is wrong and there will never be any justification for that. It causes division, it destroys families, and as we can clearly see it destroys teams. Hopefully, Vince wont have to reap those seeds with his new baby he welcomed in the world earlier this year.

Since the incident between Fisher and Young, Young has spent the last month in Houston and hasn't attended any games or practices since being put on injury reserve.

Basketball is in full force!

Ok after years of the Knicks being one of the sorriest teams in the NBA. The 100 million dollar contract that solidified Amar'e Stoudemire this summer has definitely paid off in a massive way for the New York Knicks organization. The man was a beast on the hardwood tonight. He made 39 points tonight against the Boston Celtics who had an eleven game winning streak on the line. Although Stoudemire still averages 30+ points per game, his teams eight game winning streak had the rest of the team playing with an intensity that not only matched his but  makes for good basketball.
The significance of this game and the confidence it still brings to the Knicks is something that even a lost of 118-116 against the Celtics can't even overshadow. The Boston Celtics have arguably one of the best teams. Yet the Knicks gave them a run for their money and the thought that this New Yorks Knicks team was a challenge cant do any thing short of scream out that this team is a force to be reckoned with.
The way Rondo jumped back on that court after being obviously injured and the way Stoudemire swapped Ray Allens shot like a pesty fly. Ahhhh, it screams, there better not be lockout next year!!!
Their opponents, the Celtics, brought a passion and determination with a dash of luck from their lucky leprechaun in Boston when they met up with the Knicks tonight at the Garden. Paul Pierce's 32 points were delivered with the consistency of a veteran but with the eagerness of a rookie that has something to prove.
This basketball season, surprisingly was the exact opposite of the NFL. And in case you missed it, check back in a couple hours to see the breath taking final 3 point shot that could've won the game in 0.4 seconds! Lets just put it like this if the scoreboard would've been 0.5 seconds, the Knicks would have a 9 game winning streak under their belt against one of the best teams in the NBA,

Monday Night Football 2010: New York Jets vs. New England Patriots week 13

This is what you call some good ole Monday Night Football or should I say The Rex Ryan and Tom Brady " Who has the Best Life" premiere and in both cases Im in the front row popcorn ready. This should be a good game. Both teams hold a record of 9-2, but I predict the New York Jets to take home this victory at Gillette Stadium. Not only because the Jets beat the Patriots earlier this season in week two with a 28-14 victory but because this team has been playing consistently well this season.

With the Jets Defense having 11 days of preparation for Brady, Jets fans can only hope Sanchez protects the ball and the defense puts pressure on this New England.A win in this game can be the difference between the #1 and #5 seeds in the playoff.

Cry Baby, Cry Baby Suck Ya Mama......

Ok this Randy Moss fiasco has been like a page ripped right out of some high school drama!! First he is traded to the Minnesota Vikings for some unknown reason. Ok, we adjusted and overcame that. Then, we hear of all this childlike behavior exhibited from this 33 year old, thirteen season veteran like him refusing to talk to the media, him lashing out with remarks that the Vikings lost to the Patriots was due largely on the fact that no one took heed to his warnings on how the Patriots were gonna play them, then last but definitely not least, his stint at the teams post practice meal where he yelled rude and obnoxious obscenities about the food that was catered to them by a local establishment. (more of that story at http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5755561)

Randy Moss
However, like the spoiled brat that he is or at least what he is acting like, he ultimately won in the end because he is now apart of the Tennessee Titans, which is a much better team than the Minnesota Vikings. Who knows maybe this was all an act because he understood the business aspect of the game?

As noted on espn.com who obtained their information from The Associated Press:
"If Moss is not claimed, he will be free to sign a new contract with any team and the Vikings would be on the hook for the remaining $3.388 million on his contract. He'd then be available for around $450,000 and Moss could choose the team he would like to join."

I don't know, you guys can make your own assumptions based off that. All I know is if, we see a dramatic change in Mosses behavior then we'll know that the trade to Minnesota didn't make Moss too happy and this whole show was put on by a brilliant mind to move to another organization.I may be giving the Wide Receiver a little too much credit but I just hope for the sake of the Titans that he isn't as immature as the media is painting him out to be. My hope is that he uses his experience to help the Titans offense and excel this already strong but young team to another level.

Cowboys Stadium Funeral Park

Ok, from here on out, I think the Cowboys fans should just wear all Black to the games. Thats just for the fans that STILL decide to SHOW up and support this franchise. I mean because honestly they will be the only ones there considering how the Cowboys have apparently stop coming to the games a while ago.  They should rename the Cowboys Stadium "The Graveyard" and not only to symbolize the death of  Dallas's 2010 season but also the death of Phillip Wades' career!!

How in the hell, can you blow the job of a lifetime? If this team played to its maximum potential, Wade could've had the chance to be categorized with the Greats of NFL coaches. However, Wades melancholy, laid back style of coaching has not only left us onlookers questioning his ability to coach this team but his desire to win. Every time I see the Cowboys score, I see him looking from the sidelines just as surprised as I am. Week after week, I say the same thing about Wade Phillips. WHERE IS THE TAKE CHARGE COACH THESE YOUNG PLAYERS NEED? I'm getting tired of singing the same ole song.

I wish I could put the blame on the players, if only to take ALL the heat off of him at least SOME OF THE TIME. However, Romo is doing his job, you have players out on the field like Dez Bryant, Felix Jones, Miles Austin, and then you have the experience from players like Roy Williams, Marion Barber, and even Tony Romo. So with that being said I say that "if the Cowboys wanna win, Jerry Jones better try again"- with the coach that is.

Raiders Are My Eyes Playing Tricks on Me?

Could it be? The Raiders scored 59 points against the Broncos with a final score of 59-14. First off let me just say that the Raiders haven't had such a high scoring game since 2002 when they played against the Titans and made an appearance in Super Bowl XXXVVII. Even that 52 point game for the Raiders wasn't as high as the  59 point game this offense managed to carve into the scoreboard this Sunday making it the highest scoring performance in the franchise history.

Darren McFadden
I admit I am still looking at the score in disbelief!! 24 points in the first quarter, 14 in the second, and 21 in the third! Wow!!! This game was definitely an upset. No one on the face of the planet that didn't bump Two Short on a regular basis would've picked the Raiders to perform on this level!!

Jason Campbell did his job by handing the ball off to Darren McFadden who in turn  made 3 touchdowns on 16 carries and 165 yards, and Zach Miller whose 43 yards touchdown was the first touchdown of the game. Campbell himself made 2 touchdowns and no interceptions.

With a record of 3-4,it may be a little premature to say this but maybe just maybe we should keep a close eye on this team.

Fair Play for Week 7

Last week the NFL put down a stern fist against blatant neck and head hits against defenseless players which included fines and possible suspensions in the future. Their main objective was to keep the players safe and healthy for the long term. Hallejuah!! I agree 100% with this decision.

My twitter page timeline was flooded with NFL players complaining about this rule and video. Stating the NFL doesnt care about the players they only care about their franchise players which in alot of cases are players like wide receivers in which this video is protecting. Others are saying people are gonna suffer more ACL injuries, etc. I have five words for that. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!??!!!

If you watch the video, it shows players that are getting hit in the HEAD or getting hit with someone elses HEAD. I mean come on!!! You are gonna moan and complain about THAT!!! I'm livid at the idea that this is even getting as much negative attention as its getting. I have a suggestion. Why dont you just hit the player in the torso area. Its a much larger target and guess what its padded to protect both the hitter and the "hitee". Come on guys grow a pair of nuts quit complaining about bs and play Fair!

Monday Night Football 2010: New York vs. Dallas Week 7

So I know that I have rooted for and still do root for the Cowboys because they have unbelievable talent, I just don't think they are ready to be called the Super Bowl Champions just yet. So with that being said I am going for the New York Giants.

The Giants have not been a very consistent team this season however, they have been far more consistent than the Cowboys. If the Cowboys win this game I'm sure Michael Jackson and Tupac are still alive.

Did Lebron Take Preseason Game Against the Atlanta Hawks Seriously?

Well the answer to that is absolutely NOT!!

Alot of people are speculating that Lebron wasn't taking the TNT aired game against the Atlanta Hawks too seriously. Well you don't say!! Of course he didn't!! I personally don't understand how after all the public scrutiny hes endured he doesnt play against the practice team with a vengence. Now clearly after watching him play, you can see that he is the defined leader of this team, at least in Wades absence. But how in the hell can a leader miss as many free throws as he did against Atlanta! WTF!! Lebron, Im rooting for you but if you don't get it together and show some discipline then you definitely won't be winning a Championship this season!  Thank goodness the game against Orlando was canceled. It should give Lebron some time to sober up for the season opener against the Boston Celtics!

Hot Cheerleader

I am going to start highlighting some of the sexiest NFL cheerleaders of the winning teams each week. I came across the Texans and I must say overall they have some of the cutest girls in the NFL. She has been featured on Maxim.com and has been a Texan for a while. Check out Andrea here http://www.houstontexans.com/cheerleaders/Andrea/0f5e287c-748a-4aaf-8291-d2b7693b09ef

Everybody Hates Wade

As predicted Wade has brewed up the animosity of the fans by not delivering wins.Although, Jones says his job is secure, I have a feeling things may change in the off season for Wade. Websites such as firewadephilips.com are created just to show how the fans are disappointed in Wade Phillips. I mean, they are ready to CRUCIFY the man- if that were legal! However, with all respect he does arguably have the most talented football players in the league assembled on his squad but they have a record of 1-4.Something not adding up? You bet it doesn't and many are protesting  that Wade, himself is the common denominator making this Dallas  equation fall short of a Superbowl Championship on their own turf.

Now seriously making a call and getting Jimmy Johnson to ditch Survivor, or getting Bill Cowher out of retirement to coach for a team other than the Steelers may be  a little far fetched. However, the Cowboys need an experienced coach that is going to demand the best out of each and every player. Although, there is speculation that Jerry Jones himself is the reason for lost and that No respectable coach will coach for him "and his outlandish gimmicks" is all in itself a whole other reason why the Cowboys are having such a tough year. Either way I wouldn't mind seeing Bill Cowher coach the "BOYS"!

Give Me Some More!!!

Sunday the Denver Broncos played a good game against one of the arguably best NFL teams this season, The New York Jets!! Although they lost, the final score was 24-20. I have mentioned before how I would like to see Tebow get some time on the field but apparently the Bronco's fans are just as revved up to make this  dream a reality! Every time Tebow ran on the field the crowd was in an uproar in support of their future starting QB. And rightfully so, The Broncos record this season is 2-4.

Tebow rushed for 23 yards on 6 carries and made his first professional touchdown as a Bronco which tied the game in the first quarter! Although he didn't attempt any passing plays, he still managed to leave everyone in the stadium wanting more!!

To me it seems as if he still has his training wheels on. Im ready for them to come off and him have the opportunity to really prove himself in this game! I know one thing is for certain they are doing everything opposite of what Tennessee Titans did  for Vince Young. Is the Broncos organization really trying to mold him into one of the greatest of all time? Maybe they are trying to prepare him to actually play the QB position because the shenanigans he pulled in college wouldn't fly in the NFL. I don't know but what I do know is that Kyle Ortons contract is up in 2011. Lets see more!!

How Do You Have All That Talent but Still Have a Sorry Team?

Ok everyone and there mama was on the Cowboys bandwagon at the beginning of the season. No one could've predicted that they would be such a sorry team. A lot of people are debating whether or not the Cowboys were just all hype. I mean, they've only one game against the Texans and we are already in week 7 of the season. So for you guys out there you definitely should watch these clips of the talent they have their team and judge for yourselves. Its ridiculous!

First up Miles Austin

Next up Felix Jones

Can't forget Dez Bryant even though he's only played in three of the five games thus far in the season.

And although Tony Romo hasn't always played the best that he is capable of. He has come a long way. He is an experienced player and with that experience along with his dedication this team should be undefeated!

SO WHAT!!! Who Cares if Bret Farve Sent a Pic of His Sausage!!

Jen Sterger
Ok, its being reported that Bret Favre sent a message via picture mail to a former Playboy model and "JETS" girls, Jen Sterger. She claims that he sent her pics of him playing with himself wearing a pair of crocs, and she claims to have pics of a man chest down playing with himself with a watch on that favors Bret's. She claims that he sent her voicemails in which "she claims" is Bret as well. Also, there are two other women coming out saying that Bret sent them sexually explicit text inviting them to his room.

This brews so many questions I don't know where to start. First off, how did Bret get these women's numbers if they themselves had not given it to them. Secondly, these women just ironically decided to come out with this news when they were to play Monday Night Football against the Jets. Thirdly, who cares. Its not like the man raped her he just "allegedly" sent pictures of his man meat.

Now let me just say that, I don't condone a married man trying to creep out on his wife or a man stalking a woman and Kudo's to Jen for not being a groupie hoe IF in fact she did not have sex with Grandpa Favre. But I mean why else would you give your number to a married well known football legend. Let me guess-Connections, networking, tickets to the game?

I personally think its a ploy from the great minds over there at the Jets facility to get old Grandpa Favre off his game. I don't know why they would stoop this low when the Jets have a good program. Hopefully, Bret is paying this distraction no mind and spending his week focused on helping Randy "The Diva" Moss get acclimated to the squad and  leading his team to a victory against the Jets.

To view nude pics alleging to be Jen Sterger Click Here http://www.tmrzoo.com/2010/15517/27379-003b I myself think the pics look nothing like her.

Basketball PreSeason Is Underway

NBA Preseason is underway, Thursday October 7, 2010, I went to the Hawks vs Grizzlies game. The Hawks were up by 22 points, let the Grizzlies come back, went into over time and then lost. Final score Memphis 115 and Atlanta 111.

Miami Heat, however, have been performing as expected during their preseason warm up. In their first preseason match up they sent Detroit home with a lost. Final score Detroit 89 and Miami 105. However, the Pistons sent Dewayne Wade home with a Hamstring injury. Yesterday, Miami went home with a win over Oklahoma as well. That game ending with Oklahoma 96 and Miami 103.

Where Are All the Hard Hats?

A very important issue in football is safety. The NFL has set up rules and regulations to try and protect the players on the field from receiving serious injuries while in the game. However, no one seems to think about the guys running around on the field with only flags and ball caps. Thats right the officials. They are a part of the game as much as each player and are at risk to suffer the same blows that could be received by any player on the field. With officials being accidentally tackled, ran over, and hit, I'd imagine the least they could wear is a hard hat. I mean, whats to stop them from receiving a concussion from a hard blow to the head. This rule should be set up not only on a professional level but a collegiate level as well.

What in the World Did Moss Do?

As you all know Randy Moss has been traded back to the team that signed him twelve years ago, the Minnesota Vikings. The Patriots traded Moss for the third round 2011 draft pick and New England's seventh round draft pick in 2012. Now what in the world was Belichick thinking or maybe the question should be what was Mrs. Moss "The Diva" doing? Who's to say because we all remember a few years ago and Belichick's signal stealing habits so Mrs. Moss may not have been the bad guy in this equation. Either way I say this is a major move that could potentially jeopardize the Patriots and their shot at winning the ultimate prize a SB ring!

Hopefully with this new addition to the team, the Vikings can deliver what so many fans have sacrificed their first born child for a victory at the Dallas Stadium at the Super Bowl. I honestly don't know how the Patriots plan on coming back from this trade considering they are known as a running team. However, one thing is for certain, having Grandpa Farve and his experience on the team will surely be a major advantage for the Vikings and getting Moss acclimated to the team.

I don't know what Vampire Belichick has in his plans but lets just hope he made this move to make a better team next year. Maybe his plans are simple- find some other promising and talented kid, suck up all their talent, and ship them off to another team after the player reaches the ripe old age of 33.

Is the NFC Ready For the Super Bowl?

Ok whats going on in the NFC!!!??? Right now the way they are playing they really don't deserve a place in the Superbowl or playoffs for that matter! Come on I mean with the exception of the Atlanta Falcons, the National Football Conference (NFC) is barely getting by Lets take a look at the top teams:
New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are the Defending Super Bowl Champions with a record of 3-1.  However, their performance this season, has been everything short of an alright disgrace. Barely winning games and missing field goals isn't the team that will win another Championship ring! Maybe Reggie should try to reconcile with Kim Kardashian. She seemed to be the Saint that blessed this team.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers also have a record of 3-1. However, this team had the absolute most penalties in their conference. Eighteen penalties in one game against the Chicago Bears is down right embarrassing. I honestly feel like if this team were playing teams that they will be playing in the future like the Jets, the Patriots, or even the Colts this team may have been 0-4.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears, oh the lucky Bears. Now I have been having this teams back this season. However, the objectivity in me can not over look the luck that this team has had this season. Wins off of sketchy rules, another teams ability to jack off more penalties than you, and beating the worst team in the NFL, the Detroit Lions, barely gives a team lea way to talk trash. I believe in this team but they are gonna have to pull it together fast to compete in the playoffs.

Bash on Me

Unfortunate for me my stats have gone down with the Redskins beating the Eagles, (I should've gone with my gut and picked the Redskins), the Broncos stampeding over the Titans, and the Bears lucky streak fading as the Giants pulled the victory.

However, one common streak these teams have in common with exception of Titans is the bashing the quarterbacks took that put them out of the games they could've beaten otherwise. Jay Cutler was put out of the game with a concussion and Michael Vick was put out of the game and taken into x rays for the remainder of the game with a suspected broken rib. Monday after an MRI later determined he suffered some cartilage damage that connects the second and third rib. Thereby, benching Vick for possibly two to six weeks which is the estimated time for normal healing.

Sam Bradford vs Tim Tebow: Where Are They Now Edition

                                           Tim Tebow                                                       Sam Bradford

I know its just the beginning of the season but I wanted to start making my comparisons. However, both Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow can proudly say that they were the star quarterbacks in their college careers. Bradford leading the Oklahoma Sooners and Tebow leading a highly publicized career with the Florida Gators. So who has it better?
  • Tebow can proudly proclaim that he was the first sophomore to receive  "The Heisman Trophy" but Sam Bradford was right behind him and was awarded as the second sophomore the receive "The Heisman Trophy". - Tebow
  • Their last season playing in college Tebow had a record of 21 touchdowns as opposed to Bradford's mere 2. - Tebow
  •  However, they both ended their careers with a total of 88 touchdowns- X
  • Bradford was the first pick of the NFL Draft  to the St. Louis Rams and Tebow was the twenty fifth pick to the Denver Broncos.- Bradford
  • Bradford is the starting quarterback for the Rams with a 1-3 record and Tebow is the third backup quarterback for the Broncos with the same record of 1-3.-Bradford
Although it looks as if it is a tie, I say hands down Bradford has it better because he is actually playing in the game. I don't know if Denver's decision to make Tebow the THIRD backup is an attempt to develop him and better prepare him for football on a professional level. I mean, I'm sure they are calling themselves learning from the Tennessee and Young experiment, and protecting their investment for long term profits and all but I have been waiting for years to see how Tebow will play in a professional environment. I hope they make some changes soon because WE as AMERICANS need to see this boy play under pressure.

When Screwing Up Cost You Your Job

Garrett Hartley

Now I don't wish unemployment on anyone, not even my worst enemy. However, when you play in the National Football League, one must know that they have NO loyalty to ANY player! Hartley was the kicker that helped New Orleans win the Super Bowl earlier this year. However, its a business, if you cost them or they feel you have become a liability, you can guarantee there will be another player in slot by the end of the business day!

The New Orleans Saints have allowed John Carney, a 46 year old veteran kicker, to return to workouts. Carney made his NFL debut back in 1988 when gas was 91 cent and a movie ticket was 3.50! His most recent job title was kicking consultant for the New Orleans Saints where he has held that title since they won the title of Super Bowl Champions.

There has been no word yet on who would be waived for Carney to receive an official spot on the roster. However, I hope this wakes up Hartley and have him kicking like a soccer player on steroids!

Will the Mentee school the Mentor?

October 3, 2010 will definitely be the game to watch!! Donovan McNabb will be facing a franchise that he spent ten years of his life playing for but is now being lead by Michael Vick. After Michael Vick's 18 month jail sentence in prison, McNabb took Vick under his wing and ushered him back into the game after being away and serving his time. Earlier this year, the Eagles traded McNabb to the Redskins, and announced that Kevin Kolb would be the new quarterback, which after two quarters, decided Vick would be the teams new leader.

Will the mentee school the mentor?

Girl Step Away from the T.V.

I don't know why but I have been hearing alot lately that Sundays are boyfriend-girlfriend day! Who made that up- the single people? Anyway, what I do know is demanding your man take you to the park and look for household shrubbery is a recipe for disaster during any pre-game interviews, games, or post game interviews on Sunday afternoon. Chill, Relax, grab a beer, hand it to your man, and let him enjoy!!

Go Work Out
Anytime spent working on your body is time well spent. You can even call it your Sunday "Lunge"day. You have been yearning for the time to go running or biking so take advantage. By the time your done with your routine, he'll be ready to give you all the attention you need and you might just finish your work out in the bedroom-The Butterfly Effect anyone?

Become Top Chef
Pull out that recipe and learn something new! Let your creative juices flow and fire up that new recipe for salmon you've always wanted to try. Afterwards, you can enjoy a nice romantic dinner or just have a food fight with the ingredients you've totally screwed up. Either way its a win-win.

Take the Game to the Dome....or Arena
I admit the games can be kind of boring if you have no clue whats going. So take things into your own hands and ask your man to get some tickets to the game. Better yet surprise him with some tickets! Being live in the game is a lot of fun. Being around the drunk people, laughing at the obnoxious fans, and experiencing the competitiveness of the teams in person will be something that is an experience you won't forget and an activity both you and your man can enjoy.

Compromise
How many times have you forced your man to watch "America's Next Top Model" or "Sex in the City"? So take one for the team and watch the game. It won't kill you. Ask him to go to the nearest sports bar and have a few drinks to take the edge off things and I bet by the end of the game you will be yelling at the screen if only to be part of the action.

Chicago 3-0 After Last Nights MNF

If you didn't watch last night Monday Night Football game, you missed out on an entertaining game. Now even though the team I picked to win, which was the Chicago Bears, beat the Green Bay Packers 20-17, the Packers put up a good fight. When Aaron Rodgers ran for the touchdown, I was on pins and needles! However, the Packers game was full of penalties (18) and for a second, I thought seeing how many yellow flags could be thrown their way was their main goal for getting suited up this game. Awarding them with the most Penalties and costing them the game but gaining me bragging rights to say that indeed I picked the right team.

Now alot of people are asking do the Bears carry around a little lucky leprechaun because they have to be one of the luckiest teams this season. Jay Cutlers interception wasn't counted due to a "roughing the passer" penalty and just overall the Bears were able to exploit every mishap by the Packers even though the Bears "bear"ly made it out alive and awarded them the title as being the only undefeated team in the NFC this season.

Monday Night Football 2010: Green Bay vs. Chicago Week 3

I believe the Chicago Bears are gonna send the Green Bay Packers home tonight 2-1. Both teams are entering this game with a record of 2-0.Although some may contest the accuracy of the Bears record.

Chicago has had to prove themselves since the start of the season. In week 1 against the Detroit Lions, they prevailed 19-14 due to a quirky rule. Nonetheless, in week 2 they trampled over the Dallas Cowboys proving to everyone including themselves that they are a team to be reckoned with.

Jay Cutler, Chicago's quarterback, alone has thrown 649 yards, 5 touchdowns and only 1 interception since the first two games of the season. And with numbers 22 and 13 on the Bears side, they are sure to keep the momentum they need to beat Grandpa Farves replacement, Aaron Rodgers, along with the rest of his pack of cheese.

People Screwing Up at Things They are Paid to do.

Referee Carl Cheffers

He gets paid to referee but instead fumbled his words. Flag on the PLAY!!

Eli Manning

The Giants just aren't the team they were a few seasons ago. Eli managed to not get sacked. Kudos to him for that but why didn't he just throw the ball away. He gambled the ball and he lost!

Garrett Hartley
Of course this missed field goal isn't the TOTAL reason for the Saints lost against the Falcons it was due mainly on the turnovers. However, if you are a kicker in the NFL, and all you do is prepare to kick all week, and you miss a 29 yard field goal attempt then you deserve to be in the hall of shame. The kick doesn't even deserve a video.

Sunday Review at Taco Mac

Today was an interesting day in the world of football. I met up with a close and dear friend of mine to talk about the games. Jael Roberson, known as, Jael the Great, is an actress. She has stared in movies such as 4 minutes and a host of other films.

I guess my coining the term "Redemption Sunday" must've put out some positive energy for the teams that needed it like the Vikings, Cowboys, and Titans. All, three teams managed to execute wins this Sunday. Titans skipped through a win against the Giants as if they were toddlers, Cowboys got there spunk back and trampled the Texans, and the Vikings finally gave their die hard fans a reason to celebrate and squashed the Lions.

Although I am proud of the wins needed by those teams, I still must say the Falcons and Eagles again had a more impressive and all around entertaining game today. Matt Ryan led his team with confidence that radiated throughout the entire game and never faltering even in the OT. Michael Vick had a big game and showed all the haters why he was chosen to be the leader of that football team.  I also was quite impressed with the amount of support Vick was receiving from Kolb. That Eagles team is a team to watch out for.

What Does it Mean when the Referee Does That?

Delay of Game

Holding
Loss of Down
For the football lover who absolutely loves the sport but has to ask their man or a nearby male bum for blow by blow details. I decided to give a rundown on the hand signals and what they mean. I know recently, in the Cowboys vs Redskins game the game was won by the Redskins due to a holding violation. Knowing what the referees are saying or hand gesturing can help your knowledge of the game and have you saying "What the hell" on cue with the big dogs!
Face Mask
Personal Foul
Unsportsmanlike Conduct

First Down
Too Many Men on the Feild
Illegal Contact

TSU stomps out FAMU

Being a native of Nashville, I am proud to say that Tennessee State University beat out Florida A&M 29-18. This win is a first after an 8 year losing streak against FAMU at the Atlanta Classic which is held at the Georgia Dome.

During this TSU vs FAMU weekend, I did some promotional modeling for Coors Light. I mean football and beer go together like Ocho Cinco and TO!! The event was fun yet strangely enough filled with NUPES along with a mixture of hometown friends visiting from Nashville for the game.

Lastly, let me mention, no matter how much fun it is to socialize and drink with friends, you must drink responsibly and be of the legal age. No exceptions!

Why all the Hate When You Should Congratulate?

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 Andy Reid announced that Michael Vick would become the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. This would mean that Kevin Kolb would  be demoted to a nicely compensated backup quarterback after suffering a concussion in week 1's game against Green Bay. This move was made solely on the fact that Vick is just an altogether better player. In six quarters, Vick has delivered three touchdowns, and no interceptions, and 37 passes in 58 attempts for 459 yards. He has also ran for 140 yards and six first downs on just 18 carries.

However, this all comes to a surprise considering the fact that they recently traded Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins this past April and put their faith in Kevin Kolb. I at least would've expected them to save face and keep Kolb in the game a couple more weeks. But after only a half of a game's worth of  playing time from Kolb, was enough to convince Reid to make a swift, and in my opinion smart, decision to start Vick.

Fans had mixed reaction to the news. I just don't understand how anyone in their right mind wouldn't want Vick to help lead them to a potential Super Bowl win or at least a chance to the playoffs. Sometimes ignorance just kills me. The man has paid his debt to society for his past actions now lets move on and see what we know this man is very capable of doing which is leading this team to a victory.

Watch Kevin Kolbs reaction to the demotion.
